I can help you to

I like to use my experience both as a teacher and a player to make sure you get the most out of learning to play the piano. I am a firm believer of learning little and often and learning the things you enjoy. From my experience, students who enjoy learning always make more progress than those who don't.

Frequently Asked Questions

My lessons are charged at £30 per hour for all students.

I teach all my piano lessons in Leicester from my dedicated teaching space, located on Westcotes Drive, Leicester, LE3 0SQ My home teaching space is a great place to learn to play the piano, with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

I teach all ages & firmly believe that music should be for anyone. For more questions please send me an email.

No, you don't have to take grades. It is completely up to you whether you want to take them or not. I am happy to teach people who would like to play for leisure and pupils that want to progress through the examinations. If students want to do classical grades, they will be entered under the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) exams.

A keyboard will be fine to practice on, to begin with. Later on, if you decide to take grades, it may be a good idea to get some practice on a piano to develop your technique and also, to practice for examinations.
